THE PASSAGE

This is a true Atlantic departure from mainland Portugal to the island of Madeira. After leaving Figueira da Foz and crossing the continental shelf, we commit to open ocean sailing. There are no daily harbour stops. No coastal cruising. Once offshore, the rhythm of the sea defines the passage.

Expect sustained sailing days, structured watch rotations, and evolving weather systems. This leg demands focus, adaptability, and teamwork. Madeira rises from the ocean as a volcanic landfall — steep, dramatic, and unmistakable. Arrival is earned.
